Kritter Keeper light reviews?

Hey there, y'all. I don't have time to go thru past threads to see if this has been discussed... have any of you used a kritter keeper light? (see the attached photo) The room my fish are in is rather dark so it's impossible to see and enjoy them. I can't find any reviews anywhere. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!

omg thats handy!!! but if you have 5 or 6 tanks it'll be alot of power and cables. i use a normal tube light... need a longer one but its handy... also i think the quality of the light is better with these tubes than the small bulbs in that hood light thingy... think it would be a waste of money if the light will not suffice to enjoy the fish fully, as you said :)

I sure do love your set up! I have 2 10 gal lighted tanks and 2 kritter keepers. I'd love to put the kritter keepers together with one light (I like florescent!), but I don't have anything big enough to put them both on. Bummer!

I wont be much help here, but I was goven a fairly large critter keeper w/ a light, but I realized I didnt like the look and I went and bout a 5 gallon tank. I never had the light on w/ water in it, but it was used for little baby salamanders before by the person who gave it to me, and I thought the light looked nice on it then.

So no one has ever used a light that was designed for a kritter keeper?

I've only seen it online. I want to get some (since I have 3 keepers that need lighting), but since I can't find any reviews, I'm not sure how good it is or if it's safe to leave on all day. Still searching...

Why don't you get just one large light- it might save energy, light bulbs and money.

Since I do have one, and have turned it on.. it's just a nightlight bulb in there, so I dont think you would want to leave it on all the time. My friend kept it on all day, but she had little baby newts or salamanders in it, not a bunch of water.
