Wow really?!

So I saw this today:

How awful is that? And they seem to keep mixing up goldfish and betta in the description?

I wonder how many will be killed by teenagers who want to see them fight? =/ Or who decide they need pop to be happy? It's a ridiculous idea.

It was a nice idea I suppose, but just bad. Just like when eople talk about "renting" pets.. you just cant do that.

What scares me here is that they keep mixing up bettas and goldfish... They are two COMPLETELY different kinds of fish, with different care requirements... And they obviously didn't research well before starting their program, neither bettas or goldfish are happy in small bowls... And I love how it said bettas don't like heat even though they are tropical fish...

And why do they call this program "Guppy Love" if it uses bettas and/or goldfish?
*scratches head*

Makes them sound like they are uneducated if you ask me...

^ I agree. It's incredibly odd. and it's bad enough to keep a betta in a little bowl, but honestly keeping a goldfish in one is even worse due to the ammount of ammonia they produce.

I agree, it's horrible. I'm not sure if they were confusing Bettas and Goldfish, or if they offer both. Fish should NEVER be used as centerpieces/decorations.
