My boy Holmes has fallen in love with his betta log. It's his number one spot to hide and he now sleeps in there every night. The last 2 days I've fed him he's done something so strange - of course haven't actually seen him do it - he's sneaky. He'll eat one pellet right away, but not the second one. If I walk away for a while and come back I'm finding the other pellet in his log! I'm guessing this is accidental and that bettas don't hide or save their food? Never seen him to this behavior before, just wondering if others have seen these guys intentionally put their food somewhere? It could be totally random and accidental but I think it's funny....My boy is turning into quite the character....
