Not saying that you shouldn't or can't but that the filter flow can sometimes cause fin shredding especially in small tanks regardless of baffle.

To late,
Lower fin torn,
It will recover soon. Im not freaking out, *thank the lord. But I will add stress coat and a bit of sea salt. *for fish*
