Can I combine BettaSpa & BettaFix for tail issues?

Well 3 of my flowing finned fellas have been exhibiting fin issues....
I don't see any black edges on any tails, just them getting more and more ragged.
I have not seen any tail biting either.
Otherwise, they all are eating well, active, blowing nests, etc.
They've been like this for about 2 weeks.

I have 3 2.5 gallon Kritter Keepers w/ heaters set up ready to be treated w/ meds....
Can I combine BettaSpa (almond & yucca extract) & BettaFix (tea tree extract) ?

Or will just one be enough to help energize tail growth, calm down the suspected biters, etc?
There is no way they are bored, they all are in high traffic spots, or next to another male.

I'm not a big fan of bettafix, its just diluted melafix and melafix can be dangerous for bettas if used to much or too often. The betta spa should be fine. I would also add aquarium salt or epsom salt (1 tsp/gallon) to the water to treat any infection.

Could would you be able to post a picture of the bettas? They don't always tail bite if they're bored, some will do it if they're stressed out, by too much activity or if there's another male close and they feel like they have to constantly defend their territory.

Yea darn it...I just read another post about how it can damage their breathing organ...I should have read this forum first! Well at least I can use it if the platys/swordtails ever get ill.
I was going to post pix BUT stupid me I left my cam @ the parents while doing water changes.
Will have those tomorrow. :)
