Sore eye ..... Plz help

Hi this is Marley .... Sorry for the big pic but I'm not sure how to resize it on my iPad.


Anyway, his eye has been like this for a week or so. I'm not sure what it is. It looks a little like a growth to me, but I'm still not sure. It's not pop eye is it?
Would a salt bath be good? What would the amount of aquarium salt to water be?

He is still acting normal and eating like a pig as usual. He doesn't seem to be unhappy or in pain.

Could it just be an old age thing?

Ps, in the picture he looks like he has ich, but it's just my glass that needed a little tlc.

Also all my water parameters are ok, and I do regular water changes.
