lol! I do have one more question. I know with dogs, cats and ferrets you need to have as much variety in meats and organs as you possibly can. The more the better. Is it the same with bettas? Also, can I just stop feeding them pellets one day, and feed this mixture, or do I have to start slow so they don't get an upset stomach?

OFL's food is the best! Anytime shrimp goes on sale at the grocery store I always pick up some and make a batch of food. I'll probably be making a batch tomorrow to help my sick fishies. (It also tastes really good! I put it over top ramen LOL).

lol! One of my neighbors fed her dog a mixture of rice, chicken and vegetables because her vet recommended it. One day they were gone all day and she asked me to walk the dog and feed him. She told me the food was in the fridge so I looked in there and I saw a covered container and opened it up. It looked like some kind of leftover casserole and smelled pretty good, too! lol I was almost afraid to give it to the dog just in case it was someone's leftover lunch! lol
