Question on Bubble Nest...

Sorry it's my first time spawning and I'm a stay at home mom for now, so I have lots of time for questions/threads haha.

Harley has made a bubble nest, but it's rather small... right now he's stopped making it larger and seems to just be tending it. He'll rub his fins on it and then push around the existing bubbles. Is he ready for spawning or should I wait a few more days?

Males can spawn with a small nest, and sometimes they can spawn without a nest. He'll probably make the nest bigger later. I usually let a pair swim together right before lights out and they almost always spawn in the morning.
