Moving House

Mid next year i'll be moving house, i should still have Axl, but i will also have an Oscar and a 3 foot tank for him, both tank will be cycled by that time, how will i keep the cycle alive when i have to drain the tanks to be moved? Keep the filters in water? if thats where the cycle mainly lives and how will i keep both fish warm as in the sticky on this thread.

When re filling the tanks will i have to re cycle? can i use something from a cycled tank to help with the cycle of a new tank?

You can buy heat packs to keep the temp up in the travelling containers for your fish.
As for keeping the bacteria alive in your filters,keep them in water (maybe putting the filter material in some netting,and keep it in the container with your fish to keep ammonia down in the container & to feed your bacteria.

Put the filter and gravel in a bucket of tank water to keep your cycle.

Remember the filter media needs oxygen to stay alive, try buying a battery operated air pump.
