As with most illnesses the best thing to do is start doing daily water changes and add 1 tsp of Aquarium salt per galling of water.

Pictures will help people here diagnose better and give more suggestions but pictures aren't always possible.

Along with the Pineconing do you see bloating?

well, she has a tendency to over feed... no one listens to me.... will try for a picture but im not really allowed in here room but she doesn't know when i go in there...plus her fish stripes at a camera.

we won't start meds or treatment until we have more evidence of it.

UPDATE!!!!!

The white has spread over the fish's body, very sluggish behavior, doesn't flare or fight, slight case of bloat

MrV may be correct...since it has progressed so fast and sadly if it is the fast moving Flex he may be dead within 24 hours...so lets hope it is the slow move type......

Get him in QT and start with 1tsp/gal aquarium salt and increase by 1tsp every hour for the next 3 hours to total 3tsp/gal-lower the water temp during this time to 76F and if possible add an airstone-Flex doesn't like lot of oxygen in the water, cool temps or salt.....so you want to make the environment so the bacteria will have trouble thriving to give the fish immunity a chance to kick in and fight...broad spectrum antibiotics may or may not help-flex has been know to be resistant especially to sulfa based antibiotic...I don't use antibiotic so I can't recommend any.....good luck and keep us posted....
