What a long day! I set up my new tank :)

Hey everyone!

So last week I got a 10 gallon fish tank from my aunt, and figured I could divide it up for my bettas, for easier maintenance. Well, today I picked up a double tank stand from some guy that posted on craigslist, and picked up the stuff I needed.

After cleaning and transferring my community tank from my dresser to the stand, I set to work on my new tank. Finally it is all set up! It was seeded with some gravel from my community tank to help along with the cycle. So, what do you all think? Right now I'm using silk plants until I can get some live plants. Then I'm gonna stuff it with lots of plants. I like how it looks so far!

The red/white/blue betta still doesn't have a name! Why can't I choose a name? lol Any suggestions?

The greenish/red ct has been named Noel :)

The purplish betta is Lavian.

EDIT-If a mod wants to move this to the pictures section, that would be great :)

Nice tank! And nice Bettas, too. I'm kinda jealous right now when I look over at my tank with nothing but a java fern and a ceramic bowl in cloudy water (cycling.. blah) And then look at the pic of your tank with the nice neon caves and lush looking false plants and beautiful Bettas... Lol.

Great job setting up the decor.

How do you clean it? Like filtration? Do you have a filter in each section?

Only 1 filter in the tank. The dividers are mesh so water can pass through them, so only 1 filter is needed. Once this tank has been set up a while, I'll do weekly water changes on it.

Thanks everyone :)

Looks awesome! Great job :) And I love the neon houses. I have one in my tank, and my fishie JD loves it.
