He's not large at all, but he just looks so hungry after 2 pellets lol. He sits there staring at me and then hides in his plants (I'm floating them so he can hide with his SBD)

And I think he was so lethargic before because he had no food and therefore no energy. Now he's acting more like his old self.

Just be careful that you don't overfeed him, the three might be too much then... that could just cause his SBD to get worse. Some fish have sensitive/fussy stomachs.

His stomach isn't sensitive. When he lived with my sister he was fed 7 pellets a day and never got SBD or any sever bloat... 0.0

For now I'll continue with 2 pellets. Maybe once he's healthy I'll switch to 3, but for now he's stuck with it.

Lol I promised him that if he survives through this he'll eventually get his own 5 gal. I'm looking to get 5 gal's for both of my boys after I get my sorority setup. It's ganna take a couple of months before I can afford a 5 gallon tank, though. I'm getting them tetra 5 gallon kits (= *Note I have a fear of handeling fish with nets
