so, had to take the crayfish out because he started eating my fish's fins only tank i had left was a 2g but crayfish need more room lol.

my mum and me made a deal cause she adores sir henry, she buys the new tank and when i sell my old tank i give her the money back

went to pet shop and picked up a 10g tank with filter and background. cost her $55

gonna divide the tank into 2. one side for my betta salmon and the other for the crayfish sir henry. should one die sometime i can use the tank for another betta luckily i still had all th material for the divider left from my last tank woohoo!!!

current setup lol. poor sir henry

thank you
its from a local petshop chain called petmania.
all decor in ireland start at $15 though lol...
saw a ship wreck, large, for 160$ once lol

came up with a lil idea too. made a removable flap in the divider right where the filter points it'll allow way better water flow during the day. salmon can switch sides too. during the day the crayfish cant get the fish anyways, and during the night they'll be seperated fully.

and should the crayfish die some day i can put in new mesh and it'll be safe for another male. works brill. thought first salmon wont get past the current but he swam through no problem. ill try tain him to go to his side at night lol.

Thats a really good idea. :) But if the fish goes on the crayfish's side wont the crayfish be able to attack the fish?

he only does it during the night when the fish sleeps, the crayfish eats salmon's fins. during the day the fish swims around and the crayfish is far less active and cant get at him ill keep them apart at night and when im not home. if im home i think ill let salmon across. for now ill leave them settle though and open it in a few days
