Poor fella.....you may want to QT and float the QT in the heated 10g (attached so it doesn't sink) so he can get to the top easier-even cover the QT with plastic veggie wrap to maintain the warm humid air above the water for his labyrinth organ and turn out the light....I haven't dealt much with imports so I don't know the type of water they are kept in-I know they often need really slow acclimation....if you have any tannins I would add them to the QT as well...good luck...sure hope he gets better....time and a small dark quiet place......

Orion is doing a bit better! I lowered his water to a few inches and cranked the heater to 80, and he is a nice dark tank w lots of things to rest on/under. I noticed that his injuries were more extensive than originally thought! He has wounds on his body :( so I added an antibacterial. Now he isn't lying sideways on the ground! He stays upright and goes to the surface w a noticeable increase in strength. I'll keep nursing him! :)

Well he was looking a lot better, actually swimming, and then just like that passed away in a few minutes time. No kidding I had just checked on him... and a few minutes later he was gone. I re-tested the chemicals and ammonia was 0, nitrate was between 0 - 5 ppm... PH was still good, so I guess Orion just had too rough of a trip :( He was going to start my fancy HM line... he will be missed!

I guess that's the risk I take by getting starter stock from Thailand :/ I'll have to find a replacement, but it's going to be tough to find what I was looking for... bummer, he was perfect. Poor guy.
