So excited!

I'm going to get a new Betta soon...I've been bugging my mom (yes, I'm in college and still can't drive >_>) to take me for hourssss. Even though I only had my previous Betta, Oscar, for a few days before he died of Unknown Causes I really got attached to him, much more than I expected for a pet that was 'only a fish'.

I did! I got a very (very very) active Crowntail Betta, he's very pretty and very curious...and what appears to be very territorial, as he was flaring every time my phone lit up on the way home XD

2gal w/ adjustable heater (temp hovering between 78* and 79*) and a little cave thing that the Fidget seems to love swimming in and out of. I know the tank size is a bit small for some, but since I'm living in a small, forced triple at school at least until the end of the year it's about as big as I'm going to be able to get.

It's not too small at all! If I were you I would have gotten a 5 gal so I could cycle it and never need 100% water changes (I hate doing them Lol) But if you're just fine with doing the water changes then you should be good.

I can't wait for the pics. I like CT's when they move their fins look so cool.
