moss balls

I have seen moss balls at the petstore and was just curious if anyone had experience with growing them. I read that it needs high lighting, so is 25watts in a 20 gallon enough? Also, would it improve my water quality and maybe help with keeping the ammonia level down?

Like Marimo balls?

They are super easy to maintain. I don't have any special lighting in my tank and I've had mine for at least a year. Mine are small though, nothing like the HUGE ones at the pet store.
