Rouge the Betta lives!

My new Betta Rouge had both Fin rot and Swim bladder disease. On his first day he was doing great but on the next two days he got swim bladder.
I really thought he was going to die. I had no clue what to do. I bawled my eyes out for an hour unsure what to do for him.
Thank God I found a bunch of websites about treating swim bladder.
Now he's doing great. He may be a shallow tank for his health but he seems to finally be swimming around. He looks happy and isn't breathing rapidly anymore.
Now when he really recovers I'll be able to treat his fin rot.
Also I'll have to buy a new filter too. The filter is far to strong for the little guy.

That's awesome! I just had a Betta die (from what I think may have been some sort of gill problem, or maybe bloat, or maybe stress, or maybe something just decided to smite him) so it's really good to hear someone who seems to be succeeding in making their Betta healthy! :) Good luck Rouge!

I actually just finished transitioning the new one (a crowntail named Fidget) to his tank, and he seems really happy...actually lie, I'm pretty sure that if fish could be diagnosed with ADHD he would have it. He seems to find my phone to be particularly threatening.

Ha! How cute!
I love that bettas can be so aware of their surroundings. Maybe you should either place the phone in another room or do the same with Fidget. If you can't do either try covering the phone with something.
