I never liked beagles probably never met a good one though. Dogs usually reflect the owner :p

That is soooo very true. Wish you could have met mine, or even my old neighbor in SC. His beagle Toby was OLD! But he was all loving and tried to play even at his age. Most dogs when they get old they get grumpy.

I usually dont like hounds cause with without proper training they get loud. Ive meet some good ones though. Daw I love old dogs. That was the same with my old carin we would take him when he was 15 still to see children and he didnt care if they pulled on his fur or poked his nose he would still lick them and play.

Ha ha its ok :) There is nothing like a good hunting dog. I am biased towards terriers great ratting dogs solved the rat problem we had quickly also got rid of any moles we had in the yard feisty buggers and i grew up them.

I have some mutts(lots of stuff in them) that catch moles lol, but they also tend to excavate the yard in the process. And my palm will catch them also, and rats. They all tried to chase squirrels they gave up lol, they just ignore them now. But they are the sweetest dogs around.

When I was little we had 2 beagles. They were pretty smart. We had to give them up before we moved to Germany. I have a neighbor that has a dog that's half blue tick hound and half beagle. They can be all the way down the street and Molly knows if I'm on the porch. She'll start barking until I give her a treat. lol She's a really sweet dog.
