i was checking walmart.com.

they got a nice looking 5 gallon with hood/light/filter/stones i think. 32 plus .97 cents shipping. pretty good deal i think. they also have a 50w heater for only 15 dollars which is a good deal. they have 1 gallon tanks on there with dividers as well. they show 2 bettas in it. people wrote reviews saying their fish love it. i think .5 gallons is wayyyy too small for a betta. heck i thought my 2.5 split in half was way too small for a betta, i cant imagine only .5 gallons.

I have a five gallon mini-bow, and so far Cat loves it. I personally haven't had trouble with the filter, Cat seems to enjoy swimming against the current like a fishy tread-mill. I suppose it could be divided, but I wouldn't want to do that.
