Wink The Fish Are Biting!

...Seriously. They were nippy last night.

Anyway I figured I'd have a bit of fun with the sorority since they were all hyperactive anyway!

Faye. She jumped and nommed my finger just after this was taken.

Sora. Here you can see her lack of a pectoral fin. It's healing thankfully.

Jayde and Noelle

Nina!

It's really hard to get a shot of one of them jumping, which is what I was trying to do... I kind of got a couple but nothing very visible. I'll try again. lol

I wish my females would get along to where I can just keep them together in the same tank. :P

It takes a lot of research, and it's a pain in the butt for the first few weeks, but it was definitely worth the trouble to see them all as besties now. Not to mention having them all in one tank saves a ton of space!

Lol, I would love the space if they would let me! They are all in their own jars now. I only have 3 and I was told to at least have 6 to start, but I just don't have the room yet if they all don't get along.

Can you share with me what you did?

As little as 4 will work to start, however it is recommended that you have about 6 to limit aggression. We have a whole thread on sororities here on this forum if you're interested!

here's the link: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=29402

and here's another: http://www.ultimatebettas.com/index.php?showtopic=12193

Female Betta fish are so cute! I hope the one I got from PetCo recovers from her double whammy of Ich and Velvet.
