Long story short, Cleos 2 gallon home accidentally got knocked over a little over a week ago. I found him quickly, picked him up and put him into a small dish with fresh water until I could get to the store to get him a new home after cleaning up the mess. That night I set up a 5 gallon tank for him with clean water, let it run for 24 hours to make sure the temperature was the same and the filter was working. The next day I added him to his tank, he seemed ok minus the tears to his pelvic fins, so I added Ĺ tsp aquarium salt to help him heal.(Iíll post some photos of his fins)
Ever since he has been in his 5 gallon he has been acting a little un active, the first 3 days he wouldnít eat anything, now I finally got him eating again, but he still looks a little pale ,his fins arenít spread out as much as usual and I have noticed he has little lumps on his pectoral fins and Iím not sure if It is some sort of fungus or growth or bacteria or ick or tailrot ? Now, I canít be 100% positive that the lumps werenít there before I put him in his 5 gallon because his 2 gallon didnít have the best lighting, but Iím almost positive I would have noticed because I did frequent water changes in his 2 gallon. So far In his 5 gallon I have been doing 50% water changes daily and adding Ĺ tsp aquarium salt to help heal his fins.
Should I try adding some bettafix to his tank along with the 50% water changes daily to see if that helps? At this point Iím not sure what to try because i'm not exactly sure what is going on with him.
Any advice is appreciated.
