Ok. So i have two betta fishes. One is a halfmoon male and the other one is a veiltail female. I have them in a tank with a divider in the middle.
Anyways, I noticed a couple days ago that my male was making a bubblenest. Then he started flaring his gills up at my female. Well i woke up this morning and my female had crossed over to his side! (this is the first time that has ever happened). So they were just chasing each other around pretty much until i got them separated. So after about 10 more minutes, my male got over on her side and they started chasing each other again...and i separated them again. well they didn't bother with each other anymore...but then all of a sudden my males bubblenest just went away. I figured that they don't just go away, which i don't really know anything about that either. I was just wondering what could have made it go away. It's not an emergency or nothing, just curious.
Also, it's not that I don't want to breed them, I do indeed want too, just not now. I would rather have people who i knew who wanted them and would take of them. Also I need to get another tank with a heater.
