Last night I got two ghost shrimp and a Beta fish. It suddenly occurred to me that two of anything leaves me with the possiblitly of quickly having a whole lot more. I don't know how to gender a shrimp in a way that doesn't require it to be dead first. So has anyone heard of ghost shrimp making babies in a tank and if so what are the odds that my beta or perhaps mom and dad will eat them if they reproduce.
you'll know the female because she will develope what is called a "Saddle", where her eggs grow just inside her back/head and look like she's wearing a saddle. They are usually greenish in color.
