Talking New white Petco PK

Man getting pics with a cell is a pain. Only these ones came out at all decent, and do him no justice! Can't wait until I get my real camera back.

He's really gorgeous irl and not so pink. more like a very shimmery white. xD

Thanks! It's day two and he hasn't eaten anything, gave him a new water change with some salt. been giving him salt since I brought him home yesterday though. I hope he eats soon. I know it's normal but I can't help worrying. xD

Oh my gosh! He's stunning! You said he was labeled as a delta, right? That's strange, even for petstores. xD And you're right that you should worry; I had a fish once who was moved to a new tank and would eat for two weeks. o.o I was really worried then, lol.

I asked the lady there-- since he was too small for a kind and looked like their females, I played dumb and pointed this out. She actually thought he was a female too-- Especially in the store where he had his little fins all clamped shut. Btu she said they come labeled however they are, and they have to pay so much to get them, and then that's why they're priced the way they are.

Not sure if I buy that, but I thought it was worth a shot. The shimmery white halfmoon they had was pretty too-- but he looked like he'd been tail biting, and to my surprise I'm finding I really prefer PKs. Perhaps someday when I have more money I might try breeding HMPKs-- but that would be a ways in the future, after a lot of research and a new tank or two. xD

lol, that happened to me at petco. I got a HM that was labled Delta, so I played dumb and got him for $7 instead for $15.

And I worked at a pet store before. They do pay a lot more for the better types. Our HM's were $9 but costumers had to buy them for $12 :/....and they were crappy looking HM's. Was not a chain pet store, family owned.
