He had some kind of bacterial infection... Didn't catch it fast enough. I blame Walmart for this. They take poor care of their fish and I think he had already had it when I bought him. He loved his toy Octopus in the middle of his tank. He'd lay on it and love on it every day. Yesterday he was happy and swam around his tank and today... he just died. I'm burying him in my backyard in a ziplock bag and I wrapped him in paper towels.


I'm hoping to have better luck out of my two other Betta's, Murderface and Wartooth. =[

I am very sorry for your loss. You certainly can blame walmart for many betta problems these days. My poor bro would sometimes get goldfish from there, and they never lasted more than a day. Many wonderful finds there, however, like your lil guy.
