Interesting female behavior

So I have three female bettas living happily in a 10 gal open tank, and the coolest thing happened right now
My larger purpley/blue female went up to my pink/white/green female and they did this sorta dance. The blue girl flared her gills and began to shake a little, the pink girl then did the same, and so on. All while going in a slow moving circle. No violence or aggression happened.
I just thought it was fascinating and seemed like a courtship ritual or something LOL
lemme know whatya think?
PS i should also note that my blue girl had bright white vertical lines on her gills but they've gone now

Are you sure they are all female? And 3 females is too small for a sorority, I would get 3 others and have 6 of them, as that is the minimum recommended for sorority.

i am 100% sure theyre all female, and i will be getting 2 or so more females on saturday (im so excited!!!!!!!!!!) so i can have a full sorority <3
