I had a snail in Cheep-Cheep tank for a while. At first he nipped at it and the snail would drop to the bottom of the tank. After a few weeks, he ignored it. I don't have any suggestions on how to keep yours from bothering him, though. Perhaps more hiding spots for the snail?

I do not know how to stop it. I know though that some Bettas perfer to live with no one else. I got a snail for one of my Bettas, Abacus, and he killed it.
