Am I ready to breed bettas?

Here is the list I have

1 ten gallon

heater

vinegar ells

banana worms

walter worms

micrworms

a hiding place for female

plastic lid for nest

and of course a conditioned breeding pair.

I have been trying this for a year now but just got the proper food and hoping this time it goes well just wanted to check with you guys what you think.

I know indian almond leaves would be helpful but all I have to do in imitate the yellow color and use marine paint and paint the lid. This was my check list again I just wanted to see what you guys though if I'm missing or might need anything that's helpful please tell me, my b-days soon

Do you have a growout tank for the fry (at least 20 gallons), and plenty of jars for the males when they need to be separated later on?

You will need at least a 20 gallon growout. IAL isn't about the color....it's about what the leaves release into the water...I'd invest in some soon. But other than that good luck....show some pics of your breeders!

You will also need a BBS hatchery and eggs (the worms and eels you have are great but low in nutrition). Split the spawn between two 10 gallons....sounds good. Good luck.

thanks pics will be soon and I have had no luck on bbs wthey just don't hatch for me I've tried to many times btw

Hmm...I like San Francisco Bay...I've always had luck with their eggs.
