I hope you can get some more pictures of him soon! He kind of looks like my betta, Ivan, especially in the picture you have in the Tanks section. It's hard to tell for sure at this point, though. He's also a delta tail, and gets very pale and stripey if he's caught in a cup, however gently. I'm interested in seeing if they look a lot alike!

Looks like a sort of serated edge to his tail like one of mine and does not look to be dragon.

I would keep him quarantined anyways, but you said he is in a .5 so it's probably what you're doing.
Normally dragons have a more metalic look to them.
It doesn't look metalic from the side views, but the above shot looks like he has a tinge of green when you move your eye around him.
Dunno.
Regardless he is amazing! I think He is stunning, and the top picture is my personal favorite out of all of them.
:) I'm very glad you rescued him.

He is a lovely betta fish! Again, a wonderful rescue. High five to you! Hehe. I was worried when you first got him, because I had never seen a male get stress lines before, but he looks like he has recovered very well. :)
