My new betta!!

As some of you know, my sister setup her first sorority about 3 or 4 days ago. She thought she got 6 females, but one of them, as we found out later, was a male.

As my sister didn't have any room or desire to setup another tank, she let me by the male from her. He is mine now! Yay!

I don't know what kind of tail he has. If any of you would put in some imput as to what you think it is, I'd appreciate it. Here he is;

I wish I didn't have him in a bowl. I have bowls around for betta emergencies, but when I went to Walmart to get him a 5 gallon tank, they were out. So I am trying to get him a 5 gallon tank as soon as possible.

I still haven't named him, yet, though. Feel free to make suggestions, if you don't mind the possibility that I may turn the name down (I am very picky lol).

I have never seen a male betta with fins quite like that before, but I believe he is a Delta tail. I can see why he got mixed up with a female, his fins are so tiny! Either he is very young or a plakat (short finned betta). I don't know what I would name him, but he is very cute. Sorry, no suggestions! Good luck with him.

Its a young Delta Tail male. Very pretty by the way!

I like Spike. I am a slow-poke at decideing on names, though. I'll let y'all know when I think of something.

But he really does look like a Delta to me... Or maybe even a Round Tail..
