Got a new CT today

Well my blue VT died last week (I think it was just age, water parameters were fine, he showed no signs of disease) so I've been hunting for the last few days. I refuse to spend $20+ on a fish over the internet, so it's another pet store betta. He still looks pretty good in my opinion.

He's housed in a moderate/heavy planted 10 gallon with DIY CO2 and 15ish red cherry shrimp. I'm saving up for a DSLR right now so his contrast with the rest of the tank will make for some killer pictures once I get it. This picture was taken with my old and worn point-and-shoot.

He is very pretty :) I think pet store bettas are just as pretty... But I'd never breed w one. I love his black body red fin combo!

Oh, cherry shrimp? Awesome. You should post photos of the whole setup! :)
