Smile Just wondering...

I've always wondered why bettas open their mouths at me when I approach their tank.

I feed them daily, but when they see me come over or movement or some sort, they swim over to the side where i am, and kind of wiggle, and swim towards me, even though there's the tank in the way. I can't really explain it, but somehow, it seems playful, almost. I'm sure other people have experienced this! It's adorable when they do it, but I've never known why. o:

All three of my bettas do it, and I wish I could just be all "ohbbyyou'remycutiepieeeeee <3 <3 <3"

Cx

Any explanations? :3

xD Yeah, I kinda thought of that too. But I becareful when I feed them, I don't want them being bloated or get constipation because of it. I heard it's easy to overfeed fish. o:
