Hi ! I would like to see some bettas in a kritter keeper home as I am thinking of rescuing a female and placing her into a 3 gallon kritter keeper.
Can you post pictures please? I want some ideas.
hope you can see that. that's my Delta, Dante's KK home. :3 it's about 2.5 gallons, and way more planted now, to distract him from tail biting. x-X there, he only had two plants, a cave, a toy, and things outside to entertain him.
heck yeah! dunno how i got it, but Dante loves staring at it. :3 i'll move it randomly, so he has to hunt for Arceus. xD
Cup, Hyde, and Caroline are in KK's, too, but Cup's is boring(how he likes it, actually), Hyde's is boring(cause i don't wanna put too much in there, since he's ill), and, shamefully, Caroline's is a .5. ;A;
my bedroom light. :3 Cup's was too dark, imo, so i use a divider to cover the top. lol he's alot happier, now that he can actually see, imo. as for everyone else, they have the normal lid, and are lit by whatever light's in my bedroom. i don't use live plants, except for Caroline's tiny ball o' moss, but that's growing wonderfully in bedroom light. <3
There is a little light kit thing you can buy that fits right into the hole in the top of the lid. Even fits in the hinge part on the side so it acts like a little door too, so you can lift it up to feed the fish. There are different kinds of "kritter keepers" though and not all of them have the part I am talking about.
i just sprinkle the pellets over the lid. they fit right through the slots. x3
i adore KK's. they're so much cheaper than tanks. :O i could either get a 2 gallon tank for over $20, or a 2.5 KK for $10. x3
