Yes, what sweeda said, and although 76 is ok, it is on the bottom of the range of recommended temps.

Don't worry about it, he'll get better soon. My boys/girls sometimes get stress stripes when I'm doing waterchanges as well.

I feel bad cuz I have to do them for 9 more days cuz he needs fin care (not for fin rot, just crappy treatment at the pet store). And he has now figured out how to swim under his bridge which means he is never gonna go willingly for water changes lol

It's okay, it's for his well-being! I had to do daily waterchanges on one of my PK boys for a month or two before his parasites cleared up- eventually he co-operated with me and always swam into the net instead of running away from it XD

Good luck, I'm sure he'll be fine!

I try not to net them because I saw it rips their tail, so I usually try catching them in one of those bowls petco fish comes in or a cup to put in something else.

It really depends on the net. If the net is mesh, yes, it will rip their fins- but if the net is a baby brine shrimp net (soft material) I find it won't rip their fins. Plus my boys are fast and very hard to catch with cups. :/

I'll give you a PM, it's getting a little off-topic.
