I suspect water quality issue may be some of the problem...I would start a 50% water change daily for 3 days- then make 100% water change and see if this won't perk him up and then start a regular schedule water changes of 1-50% and 1-100% weekly

If he doesn't perk up after the improved water quality-I would start him on aquarium salt 1tsp/gal 10 day treatment with 100% daily water changes while in a small QT that can be floated in a heated tank at 76-77F.

*Edit...didn't know about the fall incident, he may already have a secondary infection going on...I would start the 10day aquarium salt treatment and if you have any tannins to add...that would be helpful as well...like Oak leaf or Indian almond leaf

Pre-mix your treatment water in a 1gal jug of dechlorinated like temp water-add 1tsp aquarium salt and the tannins-shake well before use- and use this pre-mixed water for your 100% daily water changes for 10 day and feed a good diet small amounts several times a day.

He might not show his symptoms right away.

I don't know if doing this will help. It might be something with his fins. If he's not moving than it could be something with his fins. After all, my dad DID drop him. -.-

Id say do what OFL said and start a 50% daily change to see if that helps. I just hope he didn't have eny internal injurys from the fall because they dont start showing it for a few days like whats happening now with him.

Also try to get some tannens to add to his tank, Indian Almond Leaves, Fallen Oak Leaves or Decaf Green Tea, get it in a gallon Jug and let it steep for an hour before adding it to the tank.
