Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? His fins are clumped together.

When did you start noticing the symptoms? Since I got him
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? n/a
Does your fish have any history of being ill? n/a
How old is your fish (approximately)? Maybe a week since I got him from lfs.

The fish has been somewhat sickly since I got him. He seemed fine in his bowl at the store. He never took to my community tank. I'm afraid there is too much current. He's never seemed comfortable since I put him in. Always hides under plants and everything else.

The tank was not heavily decorated when I got him. I thought maybe that was the issue. I've since gotten 4 more plants and reorganized the tank to increase the cover. My light wasn't strong enough so the plants haven't been doing well, so I've got a new light on order, but I'm afraid the plants may be mucking up the water. I've got a light coming in that should bump me from .5 wpg to about 2. Going to do another water change tonight (5g at a time). Also clean out any plant debris I can find. Any other advice? I don't have any of the equipment to isolate at the moment. I'm hoping just really focusing on cleaning up the tank should help. Any opinions?
