I just bought a new dechlorinater and put in my tank. I heard that the new dechlorinater mixing with the old in the tank can create a reaction that kills all the fish. Is it true?

I've never heard that. I grab whichever one is on sale and just use it. Dechlorinator isn't lethal to fish, with proper dosage, otherwise we wouldn't use it.
