Vacant Tank!?

I still haven't filled up Jet's tank, so it's still vacan't. I'm debating on what to put in it.
Someone suggested I devide it and get two boy's..
If I do that, I never had a devided tank...is it more care?

Oh his tank is a 5g, the 5g Hawkeye from Wall-Mart.
And I would need instructions on building a temporary devider?

Thankx!

I wouldn't suggest dividing a five gallon, honestly. Seems unnecessary.

As for tank decorations, I can only suggest you browse this forum section for inspiration as there are endless possibilities.

JaspersANGEL,

Try this ongoing thread for dividing tanks:
http://www.bettafish.com/showthread....=divided+tanks

You could split a five and put two bettas in, if you wish...

Lol, if you want another fish, I think your only option is dividing and adding another male. If you're interested in non-fish tank mates, there's always shrimp and snails. I was pretty surprised how entertaining my little shrimp are.

Ya but I alway's had awful luck with snail's, my Betta's hated living with them.

I just need to swallow my pride of saying that the fish won't have enough space. The Hawkeye is hexagone shape so it would be weird to divide,
but i just tried with a sheet of paper and if the devider is as thin they'd have enough space.
