Switching from Live to Frozen

I was just curious for a next spawn I was wondering what is the best method to switch fry from live food to frozen for growing fry and how do you make sure they eat it. My little guys always seem to ignore it for a while until they get really hungry. And what is the best frozen food to switch them to?

I know that some people feed they're spawns frozen bbs from the start, so you could try that :)

I didn't have a problem going from live to frozen. At first I did a mixture of both and slowly phased out the live but my fry took to the frozen right away anyways.

I started feeding my 8 week old spawn frozen foods 3 days ago. i tried chopped up bloodworms at first but they didn't seem to touch it. I then tried frozen brine shrimp and they are eating it. Good news is I don't have to hatch BBS every other day

Soo true! I'm so glad I don't have to keep those hatcheries
I just dip the block in a little water for a few seconds until enough food separates, place the block back in the freezer and add the food in the tank... sooo easy!
My fry went straight from eating live bbs to frozen and now that they are bigger I have them on frozen daphnia. I always mix in a little Attison's Betta Starter to boost up in nutrients. The water movement from the filter keeps things interesting for them even with frozen food
