Water Testing Question

I am currently cycling a 14gal tank and am at the point where I am taking tests for ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.

I am using the API Master Test Kit and in the instructions it says wait 5 min to view results. After the about 5min I get 0.25 ammonia, 5.0 Nitrites, and 5.0 Nitrates. But I notice that if they sit a few minutes longer (like 5 more minutes) I get 0.0ammonia, lower Nitirites and higher Nitrates. If they are still developing this much later are these the true results?

Per the direction-if they say take the reading after 5 minute...this is when you will get the most accurate reading....as the time lapse the test start to degrade and you have skewed readings
