Oh goodness, very pretty, but oh so bloated! You should fast them for a few days if they still looks like this... those are 2 different bettas, right? The second one looks like a female...

hi thanks i only just had them i bought a job lot tank, I did wonder if they were supposed to look that big! im very new to this so any advice is great. Im a little worried as i have bought a whole collection and im sure some of them should not be together, so i went out today and have got a small tank ready to split some.

Yes, those guys are definitely bloated. Only feed 5-7 pellets a day. :) Bettas can't be kept together unless breeding or keeping a bunch of girls together. Fire away some questions, and I will do my best.

Most people feed their bettas twice a day, 2-3 pellets each time.

Yeah, 2-4 for me, spaced out evenly from 8 am to around 11pm xD
That many would boat my guys up bad!

Wow i love Red bettas they are fantastic! Also i agree with the other members, hes really bloated, and usually i would feed my bettas 2-3 pellets a day only once a day, any more they get bloated.

Woah, love your betta but boy he is massively bloated. That's the largest I have seen on this board
