I've got a mag250/bio-pro-30 on the back and a retarded C-220/bio-pro-60 on the front of the sorority tank right now, the wheels are whetted and priming (c-220 already has live rings, friends are good!) and the flow is kinda interesting.
The bio-pro wheels are over-shot instead of under-shot like the power filter bio-wheels. So I get some interesting effects.
Just added pima/mela after a heavy water change and vaccuming, half dose each, and the pro-60 is blowing quarter inch bubbles down into the water that are wafting around under in the flow. Its slow but turbulent.
My older girls are watching the mollies and guppies swim about popping bubbles and I'm crosseyed that the camera is taking so long to ship...
They've stopped watching by the time I finished writing the above but the gups and mollies are still going at it. Its amazing to see blutip my three inch guppy mom turning on a dime to hit them.
Kids cavorting with balloons.
