OMG There's a sanil in my tank what do I do with it?

I just found what looks like a baby snail or something. I don't know what I should do with it because when I put my fish in there I don't want them to eat it an choke. Idk if it's a baby because I've had this tank cycling for about a month and just saw it today. Pictures are below. I have a separate half gallon I can put him in if the snail is just a baby and will get bigger. He probably came in on one of the plants I bought a month ago.

Betta are pre-programmed for eating snails. Just drag it up with the net then throw it on the lawn.

If you don't want snails don't ignore a snail.
