I wouldn't breed him at all because he's a VT and if he's a petstore fish, no matter what color or tail type he is, there's no way to predict the outcome of the fry. BUT THAT'S JUST ME!
You can really breed him to anything that you like because of the reason I just stated. If you want pale fry, then your best chances are to get a pale female, still you might end up with a rainbow of colors.
Him being a DT, is not a good idea to breed to another DT because of possible malformations in the fry.

I might sell him a female from my New Years Spawn. I have a huge array of colors in it...purples....turquoise...steels....greens. I need to get some pics though :P
