Anything will work....smaller the better so it can float in the heated tank to maintain a stable water temp during treatment....

Ok. He's in a small bowl w/ epsom salt, inside a 5gal that I'm slowly heating to 78. So far so good, he's just sort of 'hanging' there.

Here's a quick update:
Buddy seems to be doing better...he is able to stay upright today, I haven't seen him on his side all day. He seems a little more active today too, swimming around a little.
Tomorrow I may let him spend time in the bigger tank and maybe have 1/2 a pellet.

I still haven't noticed any poop though. They won't eat it will they?

No, they won't eat their poo... maybe if the fish was REALLY desperate, but that's not the case here, of course.

Hope he keeps getting better!
