Possibly a stupid question, but what is this on my fish?

Hiyas,

This may end up being a stupid question, but what is this white spot thing under my fish?
He's not scratching on anything, or showing signs of itching, normal appetite.
Is it just part of the fish's normal anatomy?

(I've had goldfish before who have had ich, I know what ich looks like and there are no other white spots anywhere.)

(And if that's his rear end, I'm going to LOL. Although it'f fairly close to his head, with so many FINS everywhere, it can't be too much further back... :)
It's just that my other fish looks a lot smoother on the underside there!)

Nah it looks normal when it comes out, when I clean the water.. now that I've noticed LOL :) Ran back wondering where the delete thread button was.. :)

For some reason I thought it would be further back, but bettas just have fins all over! Sheesh, and I draw animals for a living... :)
