They foul the water. I'd rather have hungry fish than dead ones from an ammonia spike.

That's why I don't use them. I also don't like those auto feeders, because they overfeed and basically do the same thing. The good thing is, I have friend's that understand how much my fish matter to me and are more than willing to show up every other day to feed my scaly children. I guess I'm lucky.

yeh i never go away more then three or our days at a time, ive only been away once this year and that was only overnight. when i go to the farm ill just feed them up two days in advance and then let them fast over the weekend
