Bubble Nesting

After a rough patch of mild fin rot and freaking out as a new betta owner...

I'm realizing that I'm looking for things that could be wrong with my Betta. However... today he made his first full bubble nest and started to eat again. Does this mean I need to stop worrying?!

Well, a bubble nest is a territorial thing. It's not a measure of how "happy" or healthy a male is, it's purely instinctual. There are a few owners that have had sick fish build a nest.

However, you can relax! I stress out over my fish as well, but it's just a matter of learning when something is obviously wrong. When I first brought Nettle home I was paranoid beyond believe, but I've relaxed.
