they float for about a minute and then they'll sink so I feed them to them one at a time and make sure they see them as I drop them so they don't get wasted because they will cloud up the water if they're not eaten. they love them... I tried the other Betta foods on them and they won't touch them they're picky eaters lol.... but I researched them and they do just as good for Bettas as any other tropical fish so I don't have a problem with feeding them it
