Question About Common Betta Diseases....

I'm getting my Betta during Spring Break *pressure* and I want to be ready for some of the diseases.... so if you could tell me a few of the common diseases that Bettas can get it would be great!! (I would like to buy the medicine at the store)

Most problems that a Betta can have can be fixed with lots of fresh dechlorinated water......prevention is the key with regular scheduled water changes based on tank size, filtration, live plants...etc.....

OTC medication can expire and degrade over time if not kept properly and you don't want to treat unless you know what you are treating as that can sometimes make things worse......

Best products to have on hand-aquarium salt, Epsom salt, fresh garlic, naturally dried Oak leaf or Indian almond leaf, good quality dechlorinator that covers chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals......

Nutrition is also important to good health-several different brands of quality foods to provide a varied diet.
